Anahuac Pumping Station & Nature Trail #2
The Chambers-Liberty Counties Navigation Pump Station at end of TX 61 in Anahuac.
Birding Trail Site sign posted. A great destination for wildlife viewing, walking, photography and fishing! (no motorized vehicles allowed) Signs to Trail behind station.

Beach City Park #4
Beach City Park features Bar-B-Q pits, covered pavilions, and playground equipment, views of Trinity Bay. It is located at 12723 FM 2354 in Beach City. Free.
Candy Abshier WMA at Smith Point. Access to wooded areas, valued Motts and Galveston Bay. Observation deck for wildlife viewing. Hiking Trails. Permit to use required. From I-10, take SH 61 to SH 65. Cedar Hill Park & Lake Charlotte #6

Cypress Swamp Canoe Trail (Lake Charlotte) #8
At Cedar Hill Park. From I-10, take the FM 563 exit and go north on FM 563 to Lake Charlotte Road. Go through Cedar Park to Lake. Call TRIR:409 -389-2285.
From I-10, take exit 813 to SH 61. Go south on SH 61 for four miles. Continue through the intersection of SH 65 onto FM 562. Continue south for seven miles and turn right onto Eagle Ferry Road. High Island @ Bolivar Peninsula #11
Travel Hwy 124 south just 18 miles from Winnie, over the Intracoastal Waterway – into the community, turning left on 5th St to the Tropical Birding Visitor’s Center. Seasonal Phone: 409-692-4554.
Hugo Point Park #12
From I-10, take the FM 565 exit and go south on FM 565 to Gou Hole Road. Turn left onto Gou Hole Road and follow it to the Park gate. Call County Commissioner’s Pct. 4 office at 281-383-2011 for information. GPS: 29.812684, 94.799523
Park is located at 130 West Bay Shore Road in Oak Island. From I-10, take the FM 563 exit and go south on FM 563 for 11 miles, then south on Eagle Road for 4/7 mile and south on West Bayshore Road for ½ mile.

JH Robbins Memorial Park @ Smith Point #14

McFaddin National Wildlife Refuge & Public Beach #16

Mt. Belvieu City Park #18
Exit I-10 at 3180 north (Eagle Drive) to 10900 Eagle Drive.

From I-10, take exit 812 towards SH 61. Head south on SH 61 four miles to the stop sign. At the fork of 185 – turn left onto 1985 and continue east towards Hwy 124. Great for wildlife viewing, paddling, photography.
Texas Highway Department (TXDOT) Safety Rest Area: Chambers County, I-10 East and West at #61 EXITS – #20

From I-10, take exit 807 and follow the feeder road to the sign for Trinity River Island Recreation Area on the eastbound frontage road and turn right onto Lock & Dam Road. Follow Lock & Dam Road south to the recreation area.

On I-10 East – take Exit 807 and follow the service road to the intersection of Wallisville – Liberty Road. U-turn under the interstate at Wallisville – Liberty Road and proceed west on the service road. U-turn again under the Trinity River Bridge. From Beaumont, take exit 807 off of I-10 and follow the west bound service road u-turning under the Trinity River Bridge.
